Jesse Leyva, DMA, is a conductor, musician, and professor who most recently served as director of bands and associate professor of music for the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University. He earned a BA in music education at California State University, Stanislaus, and then an MA in instrumental conducting from San Jose State University.
