Job Description
Seeking experienced commercial estimator for multi-family unit construction. Applicant should have ability to prepare cost analysis, speak to city municipalities, prepare reporting, and store historic and current database. Software experience in Quickbase, Excel, PlanSwift, RSMeans or similar programs and ability to learn more as needed. Prior knowledge and use of ariel views, site plans, numerical and descriptive information planning to present to project managers.
No travel. Office role. Benefit package included.
Job Responsibilities
• Presents prepared estimates by assembling numerical and descriptive information as well as site plans, Ariel views, street views and more.
• Responsible for preparing budget to be estimated by gathering proposals
• Resolves discrepancies by analyzing and summarizing labor/material
• Maintains current and historical cost database
• Works effectively with software to perform the job, and ability to learn more
• Contributes to team/company effort by accomplishing a high caliber or work
