Carve Communications is a Miami-based PR firm focused on generating awareness, driving engagement and fostering activation for technology and lifestyle brands. We are located at University of Miami’s innovation building in the Wynwood area.

Job Summary
Ideally, we want a candidate who is currently taking PR-focused classes or has a general
interest in learning more about the media, how the media creates stories, how to identify the right reporter to engage with and then how to pitch that reporter. The public relations intern will work directly below the public relations account director. This is real PR/media relations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ● Creating media lists ● Compiling coverage reports ● Conducting daily media monitoring ● Crafting press releases ● Crafting pitches ● Conducting media outreach on behalf of our clients ● Listening in on client calls Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ● Ability to work with others ● Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously ● Adherence to deadlines ● Willingness to contribute to the overall operation of Carve Communications ● Ability to generate, share and follow through on creative ideas
