Job Responsibilities
Active preparation for the sourcing process during the project development or for sourcing requirements in serial life by:
Achieving an early involvement of suppliers and of the Category purchasing organization
Issuing Requests For Quote to suppliers
Aligning the prices with the financial targets of the project
Influencing the project design so as to find the best compromise between Project Quality, Cost, and Timing
Ensuring purchasing support during development but also during serial life, by acting as the link between the project team and the Category Purchasing Organization in case of major changes
Providing costing for BOMs and variants for development and serial life projects
