Job Description

Our client, a global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organization is seeking a manufacturing professional to join their global team, located in the SF Bay Area to work in the capacity of VP of Manufacturing. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the general operation of plant activities for the manufacture and shipment of biotech products in scheduled quantities at budgeted costs, with quality and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation and responsible for the performance of the approved budgets and forecasts.

Job Responsibilities

•Together with the Leadership Team, provide visions and establish goals for the site •Provide effective leadership including: development and implementing objectives and business strategies selecting key personnel and motivating members of the functional area challenging employees to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor •Be responsible for performance calibration/talent pool management/succession planning, individual goal setting/performance reviews training and development supporting workforce diversity, quality and safety and supporting supervisors/managers in management of their employees/department which support achievement of individual/department/business objectives
