Job Description

Our client, a global manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to join their global team in the role of Technical Architect, at one of their Midwest locations. The chosen candidate will be the technical architect of an agile development team dedicated to the development and delivery of solutions for dealers. S/He will specifically work within the product repair and diagnostic toolset. The ideal candidate will possess experience participating in the development of high quality products utilizing Agile and XP principles.

Job Responsibilities

* Create architectural design documentation * Collaborate and partner with business stakeholders, development teams to reach agreement on the requirements * Apply information analysis to assist in the effective integration of data to create business solutions * Participate in creation of project plans and schedule to meet business requirements * Review code and technical designs of other team members * Investigate/root cause production defects * Participate in pair programming, code katas, tech leveling, and other development activities * Work within and help establish guidelines such as coding standards, workflow, and/or tool standards * Drive team technical standards and processes * Provide technical leadership/support
