Job Description

Designs, and develops computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product developments. Develops application software tools including utilities, and databases. Key player in providing field support for existing products in the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Writes and supports software for Flat Panel Display equipment by coding, debugging and testing of application software.
Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Job Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Degree (Masters preferred) in CS/EE/CE or equivalent. 6+ years professional experience designing, testing and optimizing software, firmware and hardware. Knowledge of precision servo motion control. Strong C, C++, and OOD/OOA skills. Strong UNIX, Solaris background. Xwindows, motif experience a plus. Image Processing knowledge a plus
