Our client, an International CPA firm, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team, located in New York, NY to work in the capacity of Manager of Estates and Trust. The chosen candidate will assume full responsibility for managing client assignments encompassing trusts, estates, gifts, and private foundations. The ideal candidate will have broad experience providing sophisticated tax planning, consulting and compliance services to high-net worth individuals and family groups.
Job Responsibilities
• Review complex federal and state tax returns and projections for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and private foundations.
• Provide tax consultative services to internal and external clients.
• Research tax matters primarily in the federal estate, wills and trust taxation, and gift tax area.
• Review tax work of less experienced staff.
• Train, mentor and provide work direction to staff.
