Job Description

Our client is a leading supplier of technologically advanced repairs, coatings and services for turbine airfoils and engine components for commercial airlines and industrial turbine applications is seeking an experienced Engineering professional to join their team, located in the SE Region of the US, to work in the capacity of Quality Systems Engineer. The chosen candidate will work directly with auditors, suppliers, manufacturing and engineering on quality system requirements. S/He will investigate and address escapes, with the intention of putting permanent corrective actions in place to prevent repeat occurrences.

Job Responsibilities

•Manage Quality Department driven Capital Projects and Operational Excellence Projects aimed at reducing cost, reducing lead-time, and enhancing Castings technical capabilities. •Lead efforts in the following areas: ◦Quality Systems Audits ◦Corrective Actions ◦Quality-driven Supplier Control, including audits and risk analysis ◦PFMEAs ◦Stamp Control Program ◦Internal Audits
