Job Description

Our client serves the automotive, medical, electronic and semiconductor industries, providing design, engineering, tooling and precision manufacturing through innovative design. They are presently seeking an experienced engineering professional to join them, at their NJ area facilities to work in the capacity of Quality Programmer. The chosen candidate will assist the Quality Manager and supports the quality and manufacturing areas in quality assurance/ engineering and inspection functions. The ideal candidate will possess experience and the ability to program and use Vision/CMM measuring systems and to design and develop fixtures.

Job Responsibilities

•Assists in the implementation of QC/QA procedures throughout the company. •Participates with Manufacturing Engineering and Tooling to assist in developing FMEA's, Process Flow Charts, and Inspection Control Plans. •Interprets blueprints and specifications related to geometric tolerance, gauging, statistical requirements and related specifications. •Develops for QC and Manufacturing inspection plans and methods including fixture and gage design. •Interface with customers, sales and engineering to resolve quality issues •Assists training inspectors in methods, statistics, GDT & Vision Systems.
