Job Description
Our client, an IT Consulting and Solutions provider, is seeking a highly experienced IT professional to join their team, located in the DC/MD area, to work in the capacity of Senior Applications Developer. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience working with complex application reviews of existing applications within the DoD PKI and DoD PKE spaces. Previous DoD experience is mandatory.
Job Responsibilities
•Perform complex application reviews of existing applications
•Perform application development and design reviews
•Identify and address bug’s in current applications used within the PKI space
•Develop and maintain a software sustainment cycle
•Perform in depth code reviews for applications
•Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and make recommendations to improve reliability, security, and performance of IT infrastructures
•Ensure systems and applications meet the DoD mandated security requirements for cryptography and FIPS 140-2 publications
•Develop and direct tests to ensure application performance
•Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues
•Provide system/specialized training and guidan
