Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced, results-oriented biopharmaceutical professional to join their global team, located in the SF Bay Area, to work in the capacity of VP of Biologics. The chosen candidate will lead their Process Analytical Technologies group within the Engineering and Technology department that supports bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing and development activities. Potential projects include combining on-line analytical data with process models and knowledge to supplement or replace off-line testing. The ideal candidate will possess a depth and breadth of managing and facilitating Process Analytical Technology-based projects, as well as include instrument upgrades and the associated change management.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Manufacturing Sciences, Quality and Global Biological Development stakeholders to define projects that address business needs and enhance competitiveness. • Ensure that deliverables generated within the group are of high-quality and generate the intended value for the business. Manage and control the timelines and budgets for deliverables • Recruit and develop highly qualified and motivated engineers and scientists. Build competency within the group. Provide opportunities for employees to develop a wide range of leadership and technical skills that may benefit various parts of the organization. • Collaborate with the Process Dynamics and Optimization (PDO) group
