Job Description
Our client, a global banking and financial institution is seeking an experience tax accounting professional to join their regional team, located in Minneapolis, MN to work in the capacity of Tax Accountant. The chosen candidate will perform moderately complex tax accounting and account reconciliation activities supporting the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provision and tax account reconciliation processes.
Job Responsibilities
*Support the tax provision process by assisting in the monthly tax system maintenance and updating reports that support the monthly closing process.
*Prepare monthly tax provision work papers, monthly journal entries and assistance in the preparation of the year-end external tax audit work papers.
* Collaborate with other functional groups within the tax department and with the business units to collect and process accounting and income tax information.
* Maintain documentation supporting SOX and internal audits and assist in completion of SOX test work and documentation.
